My Legs, My Turn

I went to Davis Veins Utah vein center 6 months ago when the spider veins in my legs started to ache and become more uncomfortable than they had ever been before. My wife had a long fight with varicose veins so I was fairly familiar with them, but I also thought that varicose veins were mainly a female problem. It’s kind of true; women can inherit some varicose vein problems from their mothers, and when it was clear my wife had inherited her mothers legs we went to the Davis vein center of Utah where they treated her with much less pain and recovery time than we were expecting.

So, when I began to develop more severe varicose veins, which turned out to be caused by my admittedly sedentary life style, we were happy and comfortable going back to the Utah vein center at Davis Vein. When we first visited we were a little nervous because we had heard horror stories about vein stripping, painful procedures and long recovery times, which, when you add up, makes popping a couple of Tylenol and pushing through the discomfort a real option. But moments into our visit we were put at ease. We received quite an education about varicose veins as well as their causes and some things we can do to help prevent further vein problems. Also, the treatments used at the Davis vein center of Utah are at the cutting edge of varicose vein treatment. Now my legs feel like they did in my 30s, and I couldn’t be happier.
